Rosia Elizabeth Loesch, age 78, went to be our Lord on Saturday, August 26, 2017. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Adams officiating.

Rosia Loesch was born July 16, 1939 and was raised in a very meager lifestyle but always tried to see the good in everyone. In fact, as a child when she was about six years old, her family lost everything in New Mexico so they walked over 100 miles taking them over 110 days to reach their destination in Texas. Later on her and her siblings were placed in the Methodist Home in Waco and through it all she still managed to stay positive. She never turned her back on someone in need. She took in many a stray over the years, human and animal. She had lots of rescued pets and she nursed them back to health from dogs and cats to even a turkey and a racoon and gave them all a loving home. She loved to fish and could sit on a river bank all day, just her and her little dogs and never catch a thing, but was at peace. She loved her gardening and her flowers. In fact, there are starts of her plants and flowers in three states. She worked hard all of her life and there were some hard times, but no one in her home ever went hungry. We all got what we needed, she always managed to provide, and no matter what was going on with her if she had it and someone needed it she gave it. She was Mama Rose to many and will be forever loved by all she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kathy Sue Lane; daughter in law, Brenda Gail Lane.

Rosia is survived by her children, Victor Gore of Iowa Park, Texas, Allen Lane of Bellmead, Tresa Ezzell of Blair, Oklahoma and Tammie Castro and husband, Bennie of Woodlawn, Arkansas, Brenda K. Lane of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; Nine grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
