Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Axtell Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Roy was born October 18, 1944 in Waco, Texas to Otis and Ruby (Potter) Toten. He worked over 20 years at Central Freight Lines and for over 10 years at The Melody Ranch and then K Mart. He retired from the City of Clifton. He also coached his sons at Axtell Little League and was a member of the Axtell Volunteer Fire Department. Roy enjoyed reading old Western Books and watching John Wayne movies.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gracie; his parents; his sisters, Ruby, Sue and Jeanetta; his brothers, Larry and Ray; and his granddaughters, Torrie Toten and Kristie Huffman.
Survivors include his children, Roy Toten Jr. and his wife, Tracy of Axtell, Shane Toten and his wife, Kim of Mart, Kevin Toten and Heidi Kester of Anna, Kathy Sepeda and her husband Tom of China Spring; Tim Honea and Lacey Brown of Hico, Tony Honea and his wife Sonja of Clifton; the mother of his children Linda Carver; his sister Verlene Duke of Lacy Lakeview; 28 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
