Our Lord called home Rubie Annette Bloskas on February 23, 2025, where she was reunited with her husband and love of her life James "Jim" Bloskas and daughter Wendy Bloskas.
Annette married SGT Jim Bloskas in 1954, and they started their life together in Oahu, Hawaii where their first daughter Wendy was born. After their stint in Hawaii, Jim was stationed at James Connally Air Force base where their daughter Tina was born.
As a military wife, Annette was given the opportunity to travel the world. Her greatest joy was experiencing the many different cultures of the countries she lived in with her family.
In 1975 the decision was made to retire from the Air Force and return to make a home in Waco, Texas where they rejoined family and friends. Annette was always fond of saying this was when she started living her "happily ever after".
Annette is survived by her daughter Tina King and son-in-law Mark King of Waxahachie, Texas; granddaughter Ramie King and fiance' David Basalla of Georgetown, Texas; grandson Evan Jenkins of San Marcos, Texas; granddaughter Samantha Allen and husband Eric of Austin, Texas; grandson Tristan Banda and wife Joanne Banda of Pflugerville, Texas; grandson Cody King and wife Joy King of Temple, Texas; and great-grandchildren Isabella and Noah Banda, Aiden, Brooks and Aubrey King.
Annette's family wish to offer a special acknowledgement to Ramie King, Sheila Cartwright and Susan Banda whose continued help and unwavering support made all the difference in the world.
