Russell Brian (R.B.) Cunningham 92 of Waco went to be with his Lord Wednesday Oct. 21. Services will be 10 am Saturday Oct. 24 at Bellmead Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. James Adams and Rev. James Berger officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Friday Oct. 23 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Mr. Cunningham was born January 4, 1917 in McMurray, Texas to Russell and Clara Mae (Battles) Cunningham. He served in the Army in Manila in the Philippines and on July 10, 1937 he married Ethel (Mo) Latimer. They were married for 72 wonderful years. He was a Trim Carpenter at William Cameron Company for 38 years until retiring in 1981, was a member of Bellmead Calvary Baptist Church since 1958 where he served as a Deacon. Pampa as he was affectionately called by those who loved him was a skilled craftsman and has left his family with many precious memories and handmade gifts. He was loved and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include his wife Ethel (Mo) Cunningham, twin sons Vernon Cunningham and wife Barbara, Velton Cunningham and wife Darlene all of Waco, sister Betty Jo Stalsworth of Waco, brother Virgil Cunningham of Robinson, six grandchildren Randy and Tammy Cunningham, Mark and Jerri Cunningham, Bobby and Cindy Cunningham, Diana and Mike Crosby, Sarah and David Donaldson, Janeen and Kenneth Rape, fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Bellmead Calvary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 912 E. Loop 340, Waco, Texas 76705.
