Teresa Loreen Yarborough

Teresa L. Yarborough, 60 made her journey to her eternal resting place with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 10, 2025. She was born July 6, 1964 at Hillcrest Hospital to Barbara Jean Tucker and Roland Andrew (Ray) Yarborough. She was proceeded in death by her parents Ray, and step mother Myrlene, her mother Barbara and brothers John Lawson Yarborough and Craig Lee Yarborough all of Axtell. She was a 1982 Axtell High School graduate. She worked at Cupps Drive Inn while in high school and the Brazos Club and Hilton Hotel as a server. She is survived by brothers Johnny Ray Yarborough and wife Janice of Axtell, brother Jimmy Ray Yarborough and wife Barbi of Hewitt, sister Marilyn Carlisle and husband Joe of Waco who have been by her side since Day 1. She leaves behind her pride and joy, and the ones whom she was extremely proud of, sons Craig Andrew Duyck of Waco and Carsen Lee Cates of Axtell and her favorite dog JJ. She is survived by a large family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,cousins and even more friends who will miss her tremendously. Teresa loved to fish, carried on the family tradition of being a great cook and helping hand to everyone she met. She loved the outdoors and never met a stranger that she didn’t connect with. The family would like to thank the medical staff at Baylor Scott White Hospital and Oncology and for their loving and professional support for the last 2 years. There are countless others who have played a vital role in her life and the family thanks you. We would also like to extend a thank you to Axtell High School Class of 1982, 4 Oaks Ranch Bed & Breakfast LLC, Mighty Wind Worship Center, and Rudy’s General Store their unselfish generosity.
