Veroleta Thedford was born July 26, 1941 in Sherman, TX to Maness Fuller Price and Christine Louise Phillips Price. She was the oldest of 5 siblings. She attended and graduated from Denison.
Veroleta married Cecil Lee Thedford in 1963 and had four boys. They were married 32 years before the Lord called him home in 1995. In 2002, she married Alvis Leonard Thompson. Together they had quite the farm. They attended Williams Creek Baptist Church.
She worked as a waitress at Red Lobster for many years. Her customers loved her. She also worked as a home care nurse.
She enjoyed gardening, was a member of Red Hat Ladies, belonged to many charitable organizations, loved animals, never missed her Bible Study Group, and was involved in Missionary work.
She is survived by sons Johnny Thedford of Kentucky, Douglas Thedford and wife Regina, of Riesel, TX; Michael Thedford and wife Gail of Tatum, TX, and Jaime Jesse Thedford of Axtell, TX. She has 4 grandchildren, Brandon Avery, Rebecca Thedford Martin and husband Dhean, Alexis Thedford, and Bethany Thedford. She has a great grandchild, , Nyah Martin. She is also survived by her brother Tom Price and sister Nancy Price and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Father, Maness Fuller Price, Mother, Christine Louise Phillips Price, Husband Cecil Lee Thedford, spouse, Leonard Thompson.
A celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Williams Creek Baptist Church in Mart, Tx. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to make a donation in her name at https://www.copdfoundation.org.
