Virlene Frazier Kelley, 69 of Waco, passed away Monday Dec. 28 at a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 31 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Holland and Rev. Mike Simons officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday Dec. 30 at the funeral home. Virlene was born February 2, 1940 in Waco to C. H. "Hubby" and Florence (Culverhouse) Frazier. On July 2, 1978 she married Eugene (Gene) B. Kelley in Waco. She worked in the District Attorney's office Check Department for more than 20 years, was a member of SPJST Lodge in Elk, a member of H.O.T. Photographers Guild and was a member of Acts Christian Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Nancy Frazier Milner. Survivors include her husband, Gene; brother, Charles Wayne Frazier and wife Gloria of Vidor, TX.; mother-in-law, Bernice Kelley; brothers-in-law Dossie Milner, Bit Kelley, Byron Kelley and wife Meredith, Allan Kelley and wife Diane; sister-in-law Mary Dyess and husband G.W.; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and all her Cherokee Rose Kids. Pallbearers will be Alan Kelley, Bit Kelley, David Frazier, Stephen Frazier, Bubba Biles, Gerry Byrn, Justin Curtis and Brad Adcock. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
