Wilfred "Red" Boelter, 93, of Bellmead, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014. Services will be 1 pm Wednesday, Dec. 17 at the First Evangelical Church with Bro. Richard Rust officiating. Burial will follow at 3 pm at Clifton Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Red was born January 19, 1921 in Bosque County, Texas to William F. and Ida (Schoenrock) Boelter. He farmed in the Clifton area for years. He served in the Army during WWII in the South Pacific. Red married Willie Mae Kettler in Meridian, Texas on December 21, 1945. He retired from General Tire & Rubber Co. in 1983, after 30 years of service and was a member of First Evangelical Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Willie Mae in 2012; a grandson, Stephen Hernandez; 3 brothers; and 1 sister. Survivors include his children, Donna Lowe and husband Harold of Grand Prairie, Dean Boelter of Bellmead, Annetta Green and husband, Louis of Mexia and Gail Ondrej and husband Larry of Leroy; sister, Ida Mae Sellers of Waco; grandchildren, Terri Eisele, Jennifer Nintzel, Brian Lowe, Elizabeth Boelter, Catherine Hernandez, Trey Baker, Ashley Ondrej, Audrie Ondrej, Toni Winkelmann, Ashley Winkelmann, Kerri Smith, Brandi, Melissa and Kimberly Green; 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be all grandchildren; Honorary pallbearers will be all great-grandchildren.
