Walter Fred Dulock, 85, of Elk passed away Tuesday, November 30 at his residence. Services will be 11 am Saturday, December 4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elk with Monsignor Isidore Rozycki officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Rosary will be 6 pm Friday, December 3 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Walter was born August 5, 1925 in Hallsburg to Fred and Frances (Dolezal) Dulock. He married Lillian Jane Stuchly June 22, 1957 in Elk and together they owned and operated the Elk Store until retiring in 2002. He was President and Manager of the Elk Water System and Treasure of Elk Volunteer Fire Department. Walter was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elk, the Knights of Columbus and the Lumen Gentium Award Diocese of Austin. He was preceded in death by his wife February 25, 2004, his sisters Irene Vickery, Dorothy Tipshus and Frances Stamm and his brother James Dulock. Survivors include his son Mike Dulock of Axtell; sister Helen Dulock of Atlanta, Georgia; brother Fred Dulock of Waco and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bryan Dulock, Scott Dulock, Kenneth Haltom, Lance Haltom, Fred Kubitza and Kenneth Reinke. Honorary Pallbearers will be Board Members of EOL Water Supply, the Elk Volunteer Fire Department and special friend William Couch. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund and the Elk Volunteer Fire Department.
