Wanda Louise Campbell, 80, of Bellmead, passed away Friday, May 31, at a local hospital. Graveside services will be 11 am Thursday, June 6 at Patrick Cemetery with Rev. Lester Adams officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 7 pm Wednesday, June 5 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Wanda was born Jan. 18, 1933 in China Springs to Joe Elliot and Alma Louise (Rich) Bridges. She was a homemaker and enjoyed bird watching, especially hummingbirds. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing bingo and fishing and camping. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Ernest Lee Wortham. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Norwood Campbell of Bellmead; daughter, Penny Barabas of China Spring; sons Danny Wortham of China Spring and Roger Wortham of Waco; stepdaughter, Kathy Davis of Bellmead; stepson, Bruce Campbell of Bellmead; brother, Larry Springman of Rosenthal; grandchildren, Brazos Wortham, Bradley Wortham, Waylon Barabas, Amber Barabas, Michael Davis and Blyss Campbell; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
