W. C. "Dub" Cleveland, 87, of Waco, died Friday Aug. 15, 2014 in Waco. Services will be 7 pm Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 6 pm until service time on Tuesday, Aug. 19. W.C. was born April 7, 1927, in Waco, to Walter Coe Sr. and Roberta (Vann) Cleveland. He worked for many years in the Automotive Industry. He enjoyed spending time at the Heart of Texas Speedway and his life long passion was fishing in Rockport, Texas. He also served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. W.C. is survived by his children, Carolyn Krcha and husband, David of Temple, Kenny Cleveland of Waco, and Dustin Cleveland and wife Nicole of Waco; 9 Granddaughters; and 17 great-grandchildren; a special friend, Alma Meyer, of Waco and her children, James and Roberta Atkins of Waco, Earl and Renee Presley, of Waco and Rhonda Gardner of Fredericksburg; and Special Friends Garry and Shelly Scott of Waco; 2 nephews and 5 nieces. W. C. was preceded in death by his Parents and his sister: Alene Layne. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Garry Scott, Dennis Krcha, James Atkins, Bob Brown, J. P. Wills and Trenton Pecskovszky.
